The Experience
Opened in 2021, Q2 Stadium is consistently rated among the best new builds in MLS — soccer-specific design, Hill Country architectural inspiration, LEED-certified sustainability, and a supporter section that’s become one of the loudest in the league.
The Stadium
- Soccer-specific design with strong sightlines from every seat — architectural inspiration drawn from Austin’s Hill Country and local flora and fauna
- The Verde’s Vanguard supporter section at the south end (sections 101–105) has safe-standing rails installed for full 90-minute standing support
- The west sideline (100-level) features mesh seating and glass windows with an air-conditioned indoor lounge — table seating and TVs while keeping a view of the pitch
- The Austin Telco Terrace (upper sidelines 309–317) is fully covered, with its own concourse, shorter food lines, and some of the best elevated views in the stadium

Arrive Ready
- 75 minutes early for Austin FC matches — the pre-game supporter atmosphere inside and outside the stadium is worth arriving for
- An open-air stadium in North Austin, so Texas heat is the primary weather factor; all Telco Terrace seats are covered, and the west sideline 100-level has an indoor air-conditioned lounge. Plan accordingly for summer afternoon kickoffs
- The east sideline (sections 233–236) is most exposed to afternoon sun as it sets west — the west side is shadier for late-afternoon games
- The North Austin location near the Domain means rideshare from downtown is roughly 20–25 minutes

Austin FC
- A full MLS season runs February/March through October/November — Austin FC joined MLS in 2021 as the league’s 27th club
- Verde’s Vanguard is one of the most organized supporter sections in MLS — the south-end atmosphere on big nights is exceptional
- Leagues Cup and U.S. Open Cup matches are hosted here — competitive knockout soccer alongside the regular season
- Q2 has been a genuinely difficult home fortress since the 2021 inaugural season

South End Supporter Section
Sections 101–105 on the south end are designated for Austin FC’s most passionate supporter group, Verde’s Vanguard. Safe-standing rails make full 90-minute standing comfortable, and the noise and energy on big nights is one of the best atmospheres in MLS. For the immersive supporter experience, this is the section.
West Side for Shade
For afternoon and evening games in the Texas summer, the west sideline is the shadier option — east sideline sections 233–236 are most exposed as the sun sets. The Austin Telco Terrace (upper 309–317) is fully covered regardless of side, and the west sideline 100-level adds an air-conditioned indoor lounge.
The City
The live-music capital of the world — 6th Street, the Red River Cultural District, and South Congress are the landmarks. F1 at COTA is 30 minutes south, ACL Fest is in October, and SXSW is in March. Austin deserves at least two full days around a visit. See our Austin guide →

Three main tiers — 100 Level, 200 Level, and 300 Level (Telco Terrace). The west sideline 100-level has the air-conditioned lounge, the Telco Terrace is fully covered with its own concourse, and the supporter section is at the south end, 101–105.

Nine premium products — the Talroo Team Suite (largest, 32 guests), Single-Match Suite (16), Lofts (10–28), Premium Lofts, Lexus Club Loge, Captain Morgan Loge, Porch Loge, Porch Table Loge, and Chevron Community Corner Loge. The most diverse premium menu of any venue we cover.

Q2 has more distinct premium products than any other venue we cover. The 4-person loge products (East/West Club, Lexus, Captain Morgan) are the best entry-point value — all-inclusive with VIP parking — and the Talroo Team Suite (32 guests) is the go-to for large groups in a single space.

Parking, Rideshare & Entry
A North Austin location near the Domain. Austin-Bergstrom (AUS) is ~25 min, rideshare from downtown is ~20–25 min, and VIP parking is included with all premium suite and loge packages.

Q2 Stadium

The stadium is adjacent to the Domain shopping and hotel district in North Austin. Arrive 60–75 minutes early to experience the Verde’s Vanguard build-up and the local food vendors before kickoff. Xenia packages include transport planning for groups.
Hotels & Neighborhoods
Two base options — the Domain (5 min from Q2, most convenient) or Downtown Austin (25 min away, best city access). Both work well depending on your group’s priorities.
The Domain / North Austin
Shopping, restaurants, hotels, and bars immediately adjacent to Q2 — 5–10 min by rideshare. Best for groups who want minimum planning and a walkable post-game scene right next to the stadium.
Downtown Austin
6th Street, Rainey Street, the Convention Center, and Austin’s densest concentration of restaurants and bars — ~20–25 min from Q2. Best for groups who want the full Austin experience.
South Congress / SoCo
Austin’s most characterful corridor — independent boutiques, acclaimed restaurants, and the best people-watching in the city. ~25–30 min from Q2.
East Austin / Mueller
Austin’s rapidly growing creative and culinary neighborhood east of I-35 — independent restaurants, breweries, and cocktail bars. ~20 min from Q2.

The Domain hotels fill fastest for sold-out Austin FC matches given their proximity. Downtown Austin has more total inventory but requires a 20–25 min rideshare to the stadium.
6th Street and Rainey Street are the live-music and bar corridors — the best concentration of late-night Austin in the city. F1 at COTA is 30 minutes south, one of the best racing experiences in North America. South Congress (SoCo) has the best independent shopping and brunch, and Barton Springs Pool — a natural spring-fed pool in Zilker Park — is the quintessential Austin experience.

Three main options for heat management. The Austin Telco Terrace (sections 309–317) is fully covered — the best shaded upper-level seat regardless of time of day. The west sideline 100-level (128–137) has an air-conditioned indoor lounge accessible from your seat. In standard seating, the west side is shadier than the east for afternoon and evening games, with east sections 233–236 most exposed. For premium, all four-person loge products and suites have either covered or climate-managed environments.
Verde’s Vanguard is Austin FC’s primary supporter group, occupying sections 101–105 at the south end of Q2. Safe-standing rails are installed for the full 90-minute standing experience, and the section features coordinated chants, green smoke, flags, and some of the best supporter choreography in MLS for a club that only launched in 2021.
Q2 has six loge-style products, all for groups of 4. East Club loges (Premium Lofts, Lexus Club) give access to the East Club with all-inclusive food and beverage. West Club loges (Captain Morgan) give access to the West Club, with shadier positioning for afternoon games. The Porch Loge and Porch Table Loge are on the Porch Level with roomier seating and shorter food lines, and the Chevron Community Corner Loge is a corner-positioned private balcony. All include VIP parking and in-seat drink service.
Yes — Circuit of the Americas is roughly 30 minutes south of Q2. We regularly build Austin packages combining Austin FC matches with F1 weekends, especially around the United States Grand Prix in late October. We also combine Q2 visits with ACL Fest in October, SXSW in March, and Spurs games in San Antonio 80 miles to the south.
