Los Angeles Eight matches at SoFi Stadium — including two USA group-stage matches and a Quarterfinal. The Pacific anchor of the 2026 tournament.
Where the USA Plays. Twice.
SoFi Stadium hosts two USA group-stage matches plus a Quarterfinal — a combination no other US host city carries. Eight matches in total, anchored by the deepest US-team commercial draw of the tournament and a Pacific destination that needs no introduction.
- Two USA matches in one venue The USA opens its tournament here on June 12 and closes the group stage here on June 25. The strongest US-fan demand of any host city in the country.
- Eight matches, three stages Five group-stage fixtures, two Round-of-32 matches, and a Quarterfinal. Spread that supports both single-match trips and longer multi-match builds.
- A flagship venue SoFi is among the most distinctive stadiums in North America. Modern infrastructure, strong sightlines across levels, and matchday operations tuned for major events.
- A destination city Beach, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, world-class dining. No other US host city offers a comparable off-pitch experience for groups extending the trip.
Built for These Groups
LA suits a specific traveler profile. The groups below benefit most from this cluster. If your priorities point elsewhere, we will say so.
SoFi hosts two USA group-stage matches. The deepest US-team commercial draw of the tournament. Build a 4–10 night trip around both fixtures, or pair with a single match plus the destination.
Eight fixtures across group stage, Round of 32, and the Quarterfinal. Easy to anchor a 4–7 night trip; longer builds reach into the deeper rounds. West Coast pairings with SF Bay Area, Seattle, and Mexico City are common.
Club, suite, and lower-bowl midfield buyers. SoFi’s premium inventory will be highly compressed, particularly for USA matches and the Quarterfinal.
LAX is one of the deepest global gateways in the country. Direct service from across the Pacific, Latin America, and Europe makes LA among the easiest US host cities to reach for international groups.
Suites, clubs, and group seating for parties of 8–40. LA’s corporate hospitality demand is strong; USA-match suites and Quarterfinal inventory tighten first.
Beach, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, dining, design. For groups extending the trip, LA is among the strongest off-pitch destinations of any 2026 host city.
Eight matches. Two for the USA. One Quarterfinal.
SoFi Stadium: Where Value Concentrates
SoFi is a flagship-tier venue: distinctive architecture, modern infrastructure, and strong sightlines across levels. Section choice carries weight — the gap between premium and value categories is meaningful, and USA-match demand pulls the entire pricing curve forward.
- Lower-bowl midfield. The strongest balance of proximity and tactical visibility. Recommended for most groups, particularly for USA fixtures.
- Club seating. Climate-controlled lounges, expedited entry, premium catering, lower-bowl-equivalent sightlines. Strongest matchday experience for corporate groups.
- Suites. For groups of 12–30. The deepest hospitality category. USA-match and Quarterfinal suite inventory will be the most compressed at the venue.
- Upper tiers. SoFi’s upper levels offer strong sightlines despite the height. The video boards mitigate distance, but Cat 1 and lower-bowl seating is preferred for major fixtures.
- Arrive 90–120 minutes before kickoff. Add buffer for USA matches and the Quarterfinal.
- LA traffic is the matchday wild card. Departure timing matters more here than at most US venues.
- Clear-bag policy is enforced. Pack light.
- Post-match rideshare can run 30–60 minutes for high-demand fixtures. Pre-arranged private vehicles use dedicated zones and clear faster.
Why LA Inventory Tightens Quickly
USA-match seating, Quarterfinal premium inventory, and centrally located hotels are tightening faster than other West Coast clusters. The drivers below explain why.
LA 2026 Match Schedule
All matches at SoFi Stadium. Bracket placeholders (e.g., “W93”, “UEFA Winner A”) resolve once playoff and group results are in. Kickoff times may shift.
Two Strategies for the LA Cluster
Stay in Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, or West Hollywood. The strongest pre- and post-match environment of any West Coast host city — beach, Hollywood, design, and dining within reach. Recommended for international and city-forward groups.
- Best for international, USA-fan, and city-forward groups
- Walkable districts and the deepest hotel inventory in the cluster
- Match-day transport runs 25–55 minutes — pre-arranged private vehicles recommended
- Premium rates apply; Westside corridors tightening fastest
Stay near LAX or in El Segundo. Materially closer to SoFi, faster matchday turnarounds, and stronger value than Westside corridors. Recommended for matchday-priority guests and shorter trips anchored on a single match.
- ~10–25 minutes to SoFi — the easiest stadium access in the cluster
- Better hotel value than Beverly Hills or Santa Monica
- Less LA “destination feel” — best paired with a focused match-anchored trip
- Strong for fly-in groups with limited days on the ground
Best Areas for World Cup Visitors
One of the strongest bases for first-time LA visitors. Beach, dining, walkability, and deep hotel inventory. The default for groups wanting the full LA experience.
Premium hotels and an upscale central position with access to West LA, Hollywood, and major dining. The strongest pick for higher-service packages and corporate groups.
Restaurants, bars, and a lively neighborhood feel. Strongest for groups combining matches with sightseeing and nightlife between fixtures.
Modern hotels, dense entertainment districts, and the shortest drive to SoFi from a major hotel cluster. Useful base for multi-city routing and larger group inventories.
Classic LA, plenty of sightseeing, walkable nightlife. Strong for first-time visitors who want the postcard side of the city alongside their matches.
Best for matchday-priority guests. Limited destination feel, but the simplest logistics for early arrivals and post-match departures.
Properties we routinely place clients at. Final selection depends on dates, group size, and match assignments. Confirmed before commitment.

Getting To And From SoFi Stadium
LA is car-dependent and traffic is the matchday wild card. Three airports, functional rideshare, limited transit for stadium access. We strongly recommend pre-arranged private transport on match days. The throughput difference versus rideshare is significant for major fixtures.
- LAX. Primary international gateway and the closest major airport to SoFi.
- Burbank (BUR). Convenient for Hollywood and Valley stays. Smaller, faster turnaround.
- Long Beach (LGB). Useful for select routings and quieter arrivals.
- Private SUV or Sprinter. Recommended for parties of two or more. The standard for major fixtures.
- Rideshare. Workable for arrival; slow for departure on USA matches and the Quarterfinal.
- Pre-paid parking. Viable for self-drive itineraries; allow 30+ minutes to clear lots after full-time.
- Public transit. Limited matchday utility relative to private transport.
A Typical LA Package
Common Questions
Westside or LAX-side?
The Westside (Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood) delivers the strongest LA experience and the deepest hotel inventory. LAX and El Segundo offer better value and materially easier stadium access. For city-forward and international groups, we typically recommend the Westside; for matchday-priority and shorter trips, the LAX corridor is often the better fit.
Which airport should we fly into?
LAX is the default — closest to SoFi and the deepest international gateway. BUR is preferable if you’re staying in Hollywood or the Valley. LGB is useful for select routings. We will recommend based on your origin, dates, and hotel placement.
Do I need a rental car in LA?
Generally no. For World Cup packages we recommend including private transport, removing self-drive from match days. LA traffic combined with SoFi parking and post-match exit congestion makes a rental more liability than asset on matchday. Rideshare and private SUV cover most other movement comfortably.
Will our group’s seats be together?
Yes. Consecutive seats are standard. When a section is sold out, we place pairs in adjacent rows. Exact seating is confirmed before commitment.
Can I buy tickets only, without a full package?
Yes. Tickets-only requests are common for LA, particularly for local clients arranging their own lodging. Share your requirements and we will scope accordingly.
When do tickets get delivered?
Tickets are delivered digitally 1–2 weeks before the match via email or mobile transfer. Delivery is confirmed in writing once your package is finalized.
How far in advance should I book — particularly for USA matches?
Now. USA-match inventory is the most compressed in the LA cluster; premium and group seating tightens with each tournament milestone. Westside hotels are already adjusting rates. Earlier commitment expands category options and improves placement leverage.
Can you combine LA with other host cities?
Yes. Multi-city itineraries are among our most-requested World Cup builds. Common LA pairings include SF Bay Area, Seattle, Mexico City, and Guadalajara, plus longer routes that reach into other US clusters. Hotels, transport, and tickets coordinated as a single itinerary.
